While February only reached about half the normal monthly snowfall, this month is certainly sticking out for what should be one of our wetter months of the year, per the averages. Through today's date only one other year has had less rainfall for May. Have a look at the top driest May's to date: We have a couple wet weather chances in the 7-day forecast but accumulations look light. Over the next week a quarter inch of rainfall is all we are calling for. Spotty rain chances are with us mainly Friday night into early Saturday morning. And new on models is a growing chance for a few overnight downpours Saturday into Sunday. Outside of these chances there will be mostly dry day periods to get out and enjoy the outdoors and holiday weekend.
