Rain continues to fall Friday evening but will come to an end over the next couple of hours.

Once the rain ends, areas of dense fog will likely develop and continue into Saturday morning. While the fog will lift late morning through mid afternoon, we'll likely still have areas of drizzle and low clouds in place. Fog will likely redevelop Saturday night and dissipate Sunday morning.

We'll have a break in the fog and drizzle for a good chunk of Sunday, and temps will be mild in the low to mid 50s. We won't have a break from the wet weather for long as rain moves back in on Christmas Day. As of Friday evening, a good portion of Christmas Day will be dry, but widespread rain will push in during the afternoon and evening.

With temps staying in the 40s and 50s all weekend, there's zero chance of a white Christmas this year. In fact, we may end up experiencing one of the warmest Christmases on record.
