MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee area churches are gradually reopening with limited attendance and other rules in place to ensure safety. That's not the case however at one Milwaukee house of worship now preparing for a closing prayer.
Our Savior’s Lutheran Church has been a mainstay of Wisconsin Avenue for more than 160 years but due to an aging membership and declining attendance the church is moving on from their iconic Milwaukee building.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning Shirley Descorbeth visited with church leaders and parishioners as they prepared their goodbyes.
