A Big Reveal at Milwaukee's Public Museum: New Exhibit Called "Hidden Wisconsin: Unseen. Unknown. Uncovered."

A few of Wisconsin's best kept secrets are now out in the open as part of Milwaukee Public Museum's newest exhibit called "Hidden Wisconsin:  Unseen.  Unknown.  Uncovered." The new attraction, here for three months, features MPM's collections in both natural and cultural history and is made up of nearly 50 objects and artifacts rarely on display to the public. There are four different themes, including Hidden Beneath, Hidden in History, Hidden in Plain Sight, and Hidden Forever.

I had the chance to see what the museum is showcasing during the morning show on Thursday from a 1920's speak-easy to an interactive mapping of prehistoric footprints of what may be the moment the very first creatures ever ventured onto land. Of course everything represented has a Wisconsin tie.

You yourself can be part of the exhibit by entering your own hidden Wisconsin by submitting photos of your own secret places through social media by using the hashtag "MyHiddenWI." We have more information about this as well as "Hidden Wisconsin" hours and ticket prices.  Just click on the attached link.
