9-year-old in critical condition following shooting near Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 9-year-old child is in critical condition following a shooting near Burleigh and Richards streets late Thursday, July 2.
Police were called to the scene just after 11:15 p.m.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
No arrests have been made.
