89-Year-Old Man Dies at Mitchell International Airport

An 89-year-old man died at Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee on Monday afternoon.
According to Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, deputies were alerted by Airport Operations of a medical emergency in Concourse C. An off-duty Franklin police officer and an off-duty registered nurse were performing CPR on an unresponsive man. Milwaukee County Fire and Milwaukee Fire departments also responded.
At 4:25 p.m., Andrew Economopoulos, age 89, of Gurnee, Illinois, was pronounced deceased at the scene. He had been traveling from New York with two others.
