80-year-old man dead, two others injured following fatal crash in Sheboygan County

TOWN OF PLYMOUTH, SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office has identified the 80-year-old man who died following a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Plymouth.
Officials say the 2-vehicle crash happened during the afternoon of Fri. August 1, on State Highway 23, at Pleasant View Road.
The preliminary investigation says a vehicle, driven by an 82-year-old woman from Elkhart Lake, attempted to turn south on Pleasant View Road and struck another vehicle, driven by a 45-year-old man from Greenbush.
The Sheriff's Office says the 80-year-old passenger of the turning vehicle died after being transported to the hospital. He has been identified as Stephen Gould out of Elkhart Lake.
The 45-year-old and 82-year-old were both also both taken to the hospital but are expected to survive.
It was determined by officials that the 82-year-old driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic while turning.
The investigation remains ongoing.
