64-year-old Cudahy man arrested after shooting death of his sister

CUDAHY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Cudahy man was arrested after shooting and killing his sister around 6 a.m. Saturday, July 18 at a residence near Underwood and Swift.

Police say they responded to a 911 call of a subject armed with a shotgun. Upon arrival, police found a 68-year-old woman dead inside the home. A 64-year-old Cudahy man, who also lives at the home and is the victim's brother, was taken into custody. 

According to police, the incident is being investigated as a homicide and are not seeking any other suspects. 

Police are yet to release identification of the victim and suspect. 

Cudahy Police were assisted by the Saint Francis and South Milwaukee Police Departments. The Wisconsin State Crime Lab and Wisconsin State Patrol assisted with the crime scene investigation.
