63-Year-Old Shot When Home Fired into on North Side of Milwaukee

A Milwaukee woman was injured early this morning when several gunshots were fired at her north side Milwaukee home. 

The 63-year-old received minor abrasions to her face.  It is undetermined if the abrasions are from bullet fragments or debris from the bullets passing through a wall and a window. 

According to the Milwaukee Police, the shooting occurred around 12:30 AM in the area of N 31st Street and W Fairmount Avenue.  The woman was inside her home at the time and heard several gunshots just before she was struck.   She refused to seek medical treatment for the abrasions.  There are no suspects at this time and the incident is under investigation.
