63-Year-Old McDonald's Employee Injured in Robbery

MADISON, Wis. (Channel 3000)- A McDonald’s employee was injured when she was pushed to the ground by a robber Monday night, according to a release from Madison police.

The 63-year-old employee of McDonald’s at 6910 Odana Road told police the robber arrived at about 11 p.m., placed an order, jumped over the counter, knocked her down and grabbed money from the till. The man then got into a car and drove away.

The woman suffered a knee injury.

The robber is described as black, in his 40s, 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing a black pea coat, dark pants and a white scarf over his face.
