62-year-old man struck by pickup truck crossing highway in West Bend

WEST BEND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 62-year-old man was struck by a pickup truck driver in West Bend on Monday, Nov. 16. 

It happened in the 3000 block of West Washington Street around 12:06 p.m. 

West Bend police say the 62-year-old man was not in a crosswalk when he was struck crossing Highway 33 by a truck. 

The pedestrian was taken to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa for his injuries. 

The driver of the truck, a 22-year-old man, was not injured. 

Police cited the pedestrian for failure to yield right of way when crossing a highway.
