60-year-old man shot near 8th and Keefe Wednesday night

The Milwaukee Police Department reports that a 60-year-old man was shot Wednesday evening while standing outside in the area of N 8h Street and W Keefe Avenue.   The shooting happened around 6:40 PM.  According to the Police, the man said he heard several gunshots and then realized that he had been hit.   The victim was tended to by the Milwaukee Fire Department and then taken to a local hospital for treatment of the non-fatal wound.   The MPD is continuing to look for a suspect in the shooting.
