57-year-old motorcyclist killed in crash on I-41 near Holy Hill Road

WisDOT WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 57-year-old man was killed following a motorcycle crash on I-41 near Holy Hill Road on Monday, Aug. 17.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene in the Village of Richfield.
Officials say a motorcyclist merging onto I-41 from Highway 45 lost control after rapidly accelerating.
A Flight for Life helicopter was called to the scene. Despite lifesaving efforts, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
