MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- So far, five pools and 12 splash pads are open across Milwaukee County this summer. If you're looking for a place to stay cool during these scorching June temps, you can check out this list of open pools.
If you'd like to spend A LOT of time at the pools, you can apply for a job as a lifeguard or a splash pad attendant.
Milwaukee County Parks are looking for hundreds of seasonal employees.
So far, less than 100 of the 300 lifeguards needed to open all county pools have been hired.
The Milwaukee Health Department also has a list of places for people to cool off at as temps rise.
