MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Wisconsin's Bloody Mary Festival will return to Milwaukee this summer, bringing together bars and restaurants that make the best Bloody Mary mixes from the Milwaukee area and beyond. 

The fourth annual festival will take place at Mid Gate Pavilion -- located on the Summerfest grounds -- on Saturday, Aug. 12. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to taste Bloody Mary's and vote for their favorite to crown the “People’s Choice Award” for the best Bloody Mary in Wisconsin. A panel of expert judges will also select the “Best Bloody Mary in Wisconsin”.

“The Bloody Mary is the quintessential Wisconsin cocktail and people want to try the best.” says Evan Weiss, the Festival Organizer. “It's no surprise that this event has quickly become the one of the most popular local cocktail tasting events of the year.”

This nationally touring event takes place in six cities around the country including Austin, New York City, Portland, Denver, and the Twin Cities. The Bloody Mary Festival was nominated by USA Today as the Top 10 specialty Food Festival in the country.

VIP sessions are 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. General Admission sessions are 11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. to 6 p.m. The General Admission cost is $49.50, and the VIP cost is $64.95.
