43-year-old dead following shooting near 15th and Burleigh

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 43-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene of a shooting early Tuesday, Jan. 9, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.
Police report that the victim sustained injuries in the shooting near 15th and Burleigh at around 4 a.m. and died despite life-saving measures that were performed.
The Milwaukee County medical examiner identified the victim Wednesday as Jason Taylor.
The events leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
