42 year-old woman dies in fatal accident in Dodge County

A 42 year-old woman from Neosho died after she lost control of her SUV on August 1 on County Highway NN in Dodge County.

On 08-01-15 at 8:20 pm, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash in front of W2182 County highway NN Township of Rubicon, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

Preliminary investigation shows that Karen K. Mcnitt, 42 year-old, from Neosho, was operating a 2005 Kia Sorento EX eastbound on County highway NN.  The Kia SUV was partially in the westbound lane when the driver of the vehicle lost control.  The vehicle went into a counter clockwise spin and entered into the south ditch line.  The vehicle struck an embankment which caused the vehicle to go airborne.  When the vehicle landed it rolled several time landing on its roof.  The driver of the vehicle was ejected from the vehicle.    

 

The SUV operator suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.  

Assisting at the scene was:  Dodge County Crash Investigation Team, Dodge County Sheriff’s office, Neosho First Responders, Neosho Fire Department, Hartford EMS, DECERT, Dodge County Medical Examiner’s office.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
