4-Year-Old Hospitalized after Found Unconscious in Hot Car

CHICAGO (CBS CHICAGO) — A four-year-old child in Chicago was hospitalized after being discovered inside a hot car.
The girl was found unconscious on Tuesday afternoon, and police said to CBS 2 it is still unclear how she got there.
Hours later, the mini van was towed from the home on Holly Court in McHenry, and police continued to investigate.
On a day with temperatures in the 90s, the heat inside a closed car can reach 124 degrees within 30 minutes.
The condition of the child was not known.
