33-year-old man fatally shot at the Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells

WISCONSIN DELLS Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 33-year-old man was fatally shot at the Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells on Saturday, Oct. 8.

Lake Delton police say it happened shortly after 2:30 a.m. Police found the victim, Eric Conley, with gunshot wounds in the parking lot.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and later died from his injuries.

Police arrested Rhodaine Matthews, 24 of Baraboo, on a charge of First-Degree reckless homicide.

Police say the parties involved were not guests of the Wilderness Resort and there is no danger to guests or the general public. 

The incident remains under investigation.
