30-year-old man 'not expected to survive' following crash near 91st and Bradley Wednesday

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a serious collision that injured a man on Wednesday, Oct. 13 near 91st and Bradley.

Authorities say the crash happened at approximately 6:06 p.m. Wednesday.

Milwaukee police report that a vehicle was observed traveling at a high rate of speed before losing control, hitting a pole and then crashing into a tree.

The driver, a 30-year-old Milwaukee male, had to be extricated from the vehicle.

Police say the driver sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

Officials report that the driver is in serious condition and is expected not to survive.

Milwaukee police add that this incident remains an ongoing investigation.
