3 transported after Kenosha County crash, 1 seriously injured

KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- According to the Kansasville Fire and Rescue Department, they were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash on Friday, March 15. 

It happened around 5:30 p.m. at an intersection near Hwy 142 and CTH X in Kenosha County Town of Brighton. 

Units arrived on scene to find a severely damaged GMC Terrain with full airbag deployment. The second vehicle was a severely damaged small Kia that was involved in the "T-bone" crash and had reportedly left the scene and traveled about one half mile south of the intersection. The second vehicle then entered a driveway where it came to a stop with the female driver trapped inside. The driver had a serious head injury, according to the fire department. 

The driver of the Kia had serious head injuries and was transported by Flight for Life.

Two people, a man and a woman, from the first vehicle were transported with non-life-threatening injuries.

The fire department says the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department is investigating the crash.
