GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It's a Thanksgiving tradition 27 years in the making, the Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin Stuff the Bus event.
The goal is pretty simple, stuff the bus with food.
People were asked to bring non-perishable food items to the Metro Market in Greenfield.
Then, drop it off at a Milwaukee County Transit System bus.
The hope is, with enough donations, everyone in our community gets the food they need this holiday season.
"This is truly a community event, so it takes every single person across our footprint all of our neighbors and friends to make things like this actually happen and be successful," said Aaron Rice with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin.
