27-year-old wounded in Friday night shooting on Milwaukee’s northside

The Milwaukee Police are investigating the shooting of a 27-year-old man on Milwaukee’s northside Friday night. According to the MPD, the man was shot around 9:20 PM in the area of N 27th Street and W Atkinson Avenue. He received what is described as a non-life threatening wound and was treated at a local hospital. According to a news release, the motive for the shooting has not been determined. The MPD is continuing to seek suspects as it investigates the shooting.
