BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person is dead following a shooting in Brown Deer late Saturday, April 19. 

Brown Deer police responded to Park Plaza Court and Brown Deer Road around 11:15 p.m. 

Officials say a 41-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound and died despite lifesaving efforts. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Dr. Akitunde Bowden.

A 27-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to the shooting. 

Police say this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
