23-Year-Old Dies in Sunday Night Shooting

Despite the life saving efforts of Milwaukee Fire Department personnel, a 23-year-old Milwaukee man died Sunday night from a fatal gunshot wound.
The man was the second person to die from gunfire on Sunday.
This incident occurred around 10:20 PM near N 29th Street and W Mt. Vernon Avenue.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, Lavenski Dennis was fatally wounded when shots were fired during an altercation with a known suspect. The MPD is currently searching for the suspect.
