22-year-old man killed, driver and infant hurt in Manitowoc County crash

TOWNSHIP OF COOPERSTOWN, Wis. (CBS 58) – A 22-year-old Green Bay man is dead following a rollover crash Wednesday evening.

According to the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s office, a car driven by a 19-year-old Green Bay woman crossed the center line on Interstate 43, went through a barrier and guardrail and rolled down a steep embankment around 9:38 p.m.

Authorities say the 22-year-old man was a passenger in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and an infant were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Both adults were wearing seat-belts and the infant was in a car seat.

The crash remains under investigation.
