MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An investigation is ongoing after a Milwaukee man was found dead in Washington Park early Tuesday morning, July 25. 

First responders determined that the victim, a 22-year-old Milwaukee man, had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced deceased just before 3:30 a.m.

Tuesday evening, the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office announced that a 20-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with the early morning homicide. 

An investigation is ongoing and has been referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office for consideration of criminal charges.
