A 21-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 1-year-old child.
The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating the death of the child as a homicide.
On Sunday, the Police were called to a home at N 38th Street and W Villard Avenue around 11:30 a.m. where they found a 1-year-old girl who had died.
According to the Police report, the girl, identified as Tamiya Dotson, suffered numerous physical injuries.
An autopsy to determine the exact cause of death is scheduled for today.
Police said that a second child, a 3-year-old boy was found in the home suffering with physical injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and currently is in stable condition.
The MPD’s investigation of the incident is ongoing.
