WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- America has 200 newly naturalized citizens thanks to a ceremony at State Fair Park Friday night, Nov. 22.
It's fitting that these new Americans took their Oath of Allegiance at the Holiday Folk Fair, a celebration of cultures from around the world.
The 200 people you see here came to this country from 62 other nations and took their oath from federal judge Beth Hanan.
"Traveling to a new country, finding a home, a new job, are all big changes," said Judge Hanan. "And I know for some of you, coming here means having to learn a new language. But your presence and your effort are part of what makes this country so dynamic," Hanan said.
