20-year-old woman shot near 26th and Fairmount; investigation underway

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An investigation is underway after a 20-year-old woman was shot near 26th and Fairmount early Friday, May 1. 

Authorities were called to the scene around 4:45 a.m. 

Police said the 20-year-old Milwaukee woman sustained a non-life threatening injury and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. 

No suspects are in custody at this time. 

The details surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
