MEQUON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Yesterday, Oct. 1, Mequon police responded to a W. Pioneer Rd. at N. Klug Lane for a two-vehicle crash involving a SUV and a dump truck around 3 p.m. 

According to law enforcement, the initial investigation shows the driver of the SUV, a 16-year-old male from Fox Point, crossed over the center line and struck a dump truck being driven by a 57-year-old man from Town of Cedarburg. 

The 16-year-old was flown by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The 57-year-old was transported by ambulance with severe injuries. 

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
