2 dead, 1 juvenile injured after crash in Racine

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Authorities identified the two victims who died in a head-on collision in Racine as follows:
- Meliton Antonio-Sanchez, 46, from Racine
- Steve Ivory, 18, from Mt. Pleasant

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two people are dead after a collision in Racine on Saturday, March 2.
Officer responded to a report of an accident around 3:53 p.m. near Memorial Drive and 12th.
Police say, upon arrival, they saw a BMW i8 and a Chevy Traverse with excessive damage.
Through investigation, police determined that the BMW was traveling northbound at a speed over the posted limit in a reckless manner. They say the BMW traveled left of the center where it was involved in a head on collision with the Chevy.
The operator of the BMW was an 18-year-old male. The operator of a Chevy was a 46-year-old male. Both had extensive injuries and did not survive. The juvenile passenger of the Chevy sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
