19-year-old man dies after crashing car into tree near Fond du Lac and Capitol Dr

Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened around 4:05 p.m. on July 17 in the 4600 block of W. Fond du Lac Avenue.
A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was driving a 1990 Lexus LS 400 eastbound on W. Fond du Lac Avenue at a high rate of speed when the car struck the curb and hit a tree.
The victim was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
MPD’s investigation is ongoing.
