18-year-old passenger killed in crash following pursuit near Menomonee Falls

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police say an 18-year-old Milwaukee man was killed in a crash following a police pursuit near Menomonee Falls Wednesday morning, April 13.

Menomonee Falls police were notified around 12:49 a.m. that Washington County sheriff's deputies were pursuing a vehicle southbound on County Highway Y/Lannon Road near Menomonee Avenue.

The pursuit was terminated before the vehicle crashed near County Highway Y/Lannon Road and Mill Road.

The driver, a 27-year-old Milwaukee man, was taken into custody with non-life threatening injuries. 

The passenger, an 18-year-old Milwaukee man, was found deceased. 

Police say the driver will be turned over to the Waukesha County Jail with a felony charge referral to the district attorney's office.
