17-year-old stabbed several times during argument near 22nd and Lapham

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 17-year-old girl is seriously hurt after being stabbed several times near 22nd and Lapham on Thursday, Jan. 21.
Police say the stabbing happened around 7:48 p.m., as a result of an argument.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
The suspect, an 18-year-old Milwaukee man, was taken into custody.
Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days.
