17-year-old shot, injured near 24th and Auer

Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that happened around 1:25 p.m. on July 31 in the 2400 block of W. Auer Avenue.

The victim, a 17-year-old male, was shot and is being uncooperative with investigators as to the circumstances of the incident.

The victim was taken by acquaintances to the 3100 block of N. 6^th Street where he was then transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing.
