MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's identified the 17-year-old victim of a crash near 77th and Appleton, as Shamyra Jackson of Milwaukee.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal accident on Friday, Dec. 29.
The accident happened around 5:10 p.m., near 77th and Appleton. The 17-year-old was struck by a black SUV traveling west, according to police.
The 17-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 41-year-old driver remained on scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
