17-year-old allegedly shot while inside his car near Congress and Appleton

Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that happened around 9:00 a.m. on July 11 in the area of W. Congress St. and W. Appleton Avenue.

A 17-year-old male old police that he was in a vehicle when he was shot by a suspect.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

MPD continues to seek a motive and search for the suspect.
