16-year-old hurt in shooting near 96th and Silver Spring

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A 16-year-old boy is hurt after being shot near 96^th and Silver Spring on Sunday.

Authorities say the shooting happened around 12:45 p.m. after the victim got into a confrontation with several other people.

During the confrontation, the victim was shot. He was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Police continue to investigate the shooting.
