16-Year-old boys killed in Washington County accident identified

WASHINGTON COUNTY -- The Wisconsin State Patrol has released the names of the two teenage boys killed in an accident on County Highway H near Kewaskum on June 18, 2014.


Investigators say 16-year-old Travis Trapp and 16-year-old Brent Schultz were heading west on County Highway H when their vehicle crossed the center line and entered eastbound traffic. The boy's vehicle collided with a Washington County Sheriff's squad car. Both teens were killed in this accident. Investigators did confirm the boys were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.


The two boys were students at Kewaskum High School. Trapp was a senior involved in football, trap shooting and the Future Farmers of America. Schultz was a junior involved in trap shooting and the Future Farmers of America.
