16-year-old among 3 injured in separate overnight shootings
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating three separate shootings that left three people injured on Thursday, March 31, including a 16-year-old Milwaukee boy.
The first shooting happened happened around 10:45 p.m. near Fiebrantz and Port Washington Rd. A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman was struck by gunfire. She was taken to a local hospital where she is expected to survive. The circumstances leading up to the shooting appear to be the result of a road rage incident. Milwaukee police continue to seek unknown suspects.
A second non-fatal shooting happened near 22nd and Hopkins around 11:13 p.m. Police are investigating an argument between two groups of individuals. Police say a suspect fired several shots, subsequently striking a 16-year-old Milwaukee boy.
A third shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. on Friday, April 1 near 47th and Villard. A 46-year-old Milwaukee man sustained non-fatal injuries after being struck by gunfire. He was transported to a local hospital where he is expected to survive. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation. Milwaukee police continue to seek unknown suspects.
