16 arrested for OWI during Operation Drive Sober initiative

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Sixteen people were arrested for OWI over the weekend as part of the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office Drive Sober Initiative.

The initiative started Friday at 4:00 p.m. and lasted through 6:00 a.m. Monday. The Sheriff’s Office says the average PBT test results were .15.

The Sheriff’s Office says a 33-year-old man from Hartland was arrested for his 4^th OWI. Six others were arrested for their second OWI, with one man facing other charges including resisting an officer.

Nine people were arrested for their first OWI offense.
