14-year-old girl fatally shot while riding in car with friends near 11th and Burleigh

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- A 14-year-old girl was fatally shot while riding in the back seat of a car with her friends near 11th and Burleigh around 2 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3. 

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, while riding in the car with friends, the group heard multiple gunshots. The victim was rushed to a local hospital where she later died. 

Milwaukee police are investigating the incident as a homicide. 

There are no known suspects.
