A 13-year-old boy is under arrest following several strong armed robbery in Milwaukee.  According to the Milwaukee Police, the boy was taken into custody around 5 o’clock Thursday morning in the area of N Humboldt and E Commerce Avenue.  Police say the youth had a gun on him when he was arrested.  

The 13-year-old is suspected of an armed robbery that occurred around 1:15 AM on September 1 in the area of E Pleasant and N Astor Streets.  According to the MPD, two male suspects approached a 23-year-old man and 24-year-old woman walking along the street and pointed a gun at them.  The suspects stole a wallet form the man and several items from the woman before fleeing on foot.  The MPD is still looking for the second suspect.   The Police are also attempting to determine if the suspects are responsible for several other armed robberies that occurred in the area.
