12 Year old cancer survivor becomes star on the stage

ST. FRANCIS, WI - 12 year old Luke Hentzell went from being a very shy anxious child to performing on stage. Luke was 3 years old when he was diagnosed with Leukemia. His mother says several years of Chemotherapy and other treatments took a harsh toll on her son. Lori Hentzell says Luke was withdrawn and didn't want to be around people. That all changed after he joined the Spotlight Youth Theater. Lori says Luke is now more confident in every aspect of his life. Oliver will be the fifth Spotlight production that Luke has performed in. He suggests that any kid with anxiety or other issues should consider an extracurricular activity because it worked for him. You can see Luke and the rest of the cast perform \"Oliver\" beginning Friday and running the next two weeks. The shows will be held at St. Thomas More High School in St. Francis.
