MILWAUKEE COUNTY (CBS 58) -- There are now 105 brand new Americans in the Milwaukee area.
"Let me be the first to congratulate you all on becoming citizens of the United States of America."
This Naturalization Ceremony was held at Cardinal Stritch University. The people here came from 47 different countries to take their oath of allegiance to America.
"Now, we can be more comfortable going anywhere, being proud of the country that we chose to be," said one new citizen.
Ernesto and Susana Aranda tell us the first thing they want to do as US Citizens is register to vote so their voices can be heard.
