Opening weekend is here for Slinger Speedway
FORT WORTH, Tex. (CBS 58) - The Marquette Golden Eagles have arrived in Fort Worth, Texas ahead of their matchup with North Carolina.
The Golden Eagles will be the 9-seed and the Tarheels the 8-seed.
This is the seventh overall matchup between the schools. Marquette won last year on the road, 83-70.
CBS 58's Darius Joshua caught up with redshirt freshman forward Olivier-Maxence Prosper who was with Clemson last season and faced UNC during the regular season.
The game tips off at 3:30pm CT on Thursday, March 17.
