It's been one week since a one-month-old child was found dead in her crib.
Since then, six other children have died across the City of Milwaukee. In seven days, five infants, one baby, and one toddler have died.
Six of those deaths are not suspicious according to police, but the death of a one-year-old girl on North 38th Street is being investigated as a homicide.
Her older brother was also found in the home with numerous injuries on Sunday. The three-year-old boy was brought to the hospital for treatment.
Earlier this week CBS 58 reported that a 21-year-old man was arrested in the case. A new detail -- a 22-year-old woman related to the children was also arrested.
CBS 58 is not naming the two people because they have not yet been charged, but we did look into their records.
The 21-year-old man is a felon. He was arrested at the home where the children were found and taken into custody for violating parole and child abuse. The 22-year-old woman was also arrested at the same time for failure to report child abuse
The two are currently in jail, awaiting charges.
While some of the seven autopsies are pending, the Medical Examiner says none of the deaths appear to be related.
