Julia Westerman joined the CBS 58 sports team in August 2026 and looks forward to amplifying the southeastern Wisconsin sports landscape.
Julia spent four years at WIS-TV in Columbia, South Carolina, where she covered four-straight women's Final Fours, complete with the Gamecocks' undefeated national championship run in 2024. She was on the sidelines for countless SEC and ACC sporting events and made annual trips to the Masters Tournament (ask her about the time she won the media lottery and got to play Augusta National).
Prior to her time in Columbia, Julia worked at stations in Bridgeport, W. Va., and Tuscaloosa, Ala. She's a proud graduate of The University of Alabama and a native of Southern California.
In her free time, Julia loves to find the best coffee shop or workout class the area has to offer (and she's taking recommendations for Milwaukee). She's a huge foodie, has a 1,000-plus day streak learning French on Duolingo and has been to 39 states and 13 countries.
