MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Bronzeville Foundation is gearing up for its third annual charity basketball game at Brookfield Central High School on Thursday, June 22.
Sponsored by the Milwaukee Bucks and Dicks Sporting Goods, the game will feature top high school players from around the state as they compete to raise money for homeless shelters in the Milwaukee area.
Foundation Representative Jose Zapien Guerra and student athlete Daniel Robinson joined us on Thursday, June 15 to discuss the game, including the foundation's goals and the importance of fusing entertainment with awareness. They also highlighted the value of athletes' platforms and the growth of this event.
